Getting Over It

All right, I am getting over it. (Although I felt like I was going to have a heart attack this aft, I really just need to get used to the meds). Pity party is done.

So, I am dashing around on my new diet, and I find there are a lot of grains involved. (Joy for me as I sit and eat my banana/no salt no sugar peanut butter sandwich on 14 grain organic bread!). This particularly makes me happy, as I love grains! Grains, however, do not reciprocate the love. It is one way. Grains enjoy sitting on my hips and stomach. And I think , really, that 6-8 servings a day is unhealthy. But, I will have a few high value grains each day and see how it goes.

I got a kettlebell from my friend Coco today, who apparently has a trainer that is way better looking then a kettlebell, so she doesn't need it. I intend to do the 'kettlebell swing' exercise in the "4 Hour Body".  My husband has warned me that this is a disaster in the making; either involving holes in our floors or knocking in my own skull  (likely the later.....or both). But I believe once I tell him that he will be able to rest a beer on my hiney after a couple of weeks, I may win him over. I don't know if that has ever been a desire of his, to rest a beer on my tush......(and quite honestly, I get quite a disturbing visual of a coffee table-looking backside); but that is what the book says it will do.

I will try it. And if it doesn't work, I will get over that too:)
